Southwest Arkansas 6 Day Forecast for October 15th through October 20th, 2026.

Thursday & Thursday Night: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy with highs in the mid 80s to mid and potentially upper 90s. The chance for isolated showers and perhaps a thunderstorm will exist in the afternoon. Overnight temperatures will fall into the mid 50s to low 70s with a cold front passage overnight. Winds will come from the north around 5-20 mph. Gusts up to 35-40 will be possible. Chance of precipitation is 10%.

Friday & Friday Night: Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 50s to low 70s. Daytime winds will come from the north around 10-20 mph. Overnight temperatures will fall into the mid 40s to low 50s. Winds will come from the north around 5-15 mph.

Saturday & Saturday Night: Sunny with highs in the upper 50s to upper 60s. Daytime winds will come from the northeast around 5 mph. Overnight temperatures will fall into the mid 40s to low 50s. Winds will come from the northeast around 5 mph.

Sunday & Sunday Night: Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. Daytime winds will come from the northeast around 5 mph. Overnight temperatures will fall into the mid 40s to low 50s. Winds will come from the northeast around 5 mph.

10:20 am Radar Update (10/14/26):

Rain chances remain greatest north of our coverage area but across far northern portions of Southwest Arkansas (Mena to Hot Springs). Chances remain around 20 to 30%, as you go further south those chances decrease and become more isolated.

Right now we have a thunderstorm moving out of Garland County, and isolated showers elsewhere. We will continue to watch this closely throughout the day and keep you updated with the latest!

Good Wednesday morning Southwest Arkansas, let’s take a look at what’s in store for October 14th, 2026.

Starting out temperatures will be in the upper-60s and 70s. Forecasted highs will be in the upper-80s to mid-90s. A mix of clouds and sun, some isolated to scattered showers, and maybe a thunderstorm will be possible across northern portions of the coverage area in the morning. Becoming more isolated in nature during the afternoon. Winds will be south southwest at around 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph. Overnight lows will be in the 60s.

Good Tuesday evening Southwest Arkansas. Let's take a look at what's in store for the next 6-days! October 13th through October 19th, 2026

Tonight: Partly cloudy and unusually warm for October. Patchy fog may develop in a few locations overnight. Rain chances: 10%. Lows in the lower-70s.

Wednesday & Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy early, becoming partly cloudy with a few isolated showers and thunderstorms possible during the afternoon. Rain chances: 0–30%. Highs around 90° to the lower-90s. Overnight lows in the mid-60s.

Thursday & Thursday Night: Mostly sunny and continued very warm ahead of an approaching cold front. Rain chances: 10%. Highs around 90° to the lower-90s. Overnight lows in the lower-60s. Northwest winds increase late Thursday night, with gusts potentially reaching 25–30 mph in western areas.

Friday & Friday Night: Mostly sunny, windy and MUCH cooler as a strong cold front moves through Southwest Arkansas. Rain chances: 10%. Highs in the mid-70s to lower-80s, coolest across western portions of the area. Overnight lows dropping into the upper-40s!

Saturday & Saturday Night: Mostly sunny and noticeably cooler with pleasant fall weather. Rain chances: 0%. Highs around 70° to the lower-70s. Overnight lows in the lower to mid-40s.

Sunday & Sunday Night: Mostly sunny and comfortable with temperatures beginning to recover. Rain chances: 0%. Highs in the mid-70s to around 80°. Overnight lows in the upper-40s to lower-50s.

Monday & Monday Night: Partly cloudy and warmer. Rain chances: 0%. Highs around 80° to the mid-80s. Overnight lows in the mid to upper-50s.

The big story is the significant cooldown arriving Friday! Before that happens, Wednesday and Thursday will remain unusually warm, with afternoon highs around 90° across much of Southwest Arkansas.

A strong cold front will move through Thursday night into Friday, bringing gusty winds and a noticeable drop in temperatures. By Saturday morning, many locations will be in the 40s, followed by afternoon highs only around 70°! Sunday morning will also be chilly, with lows generally in the 40s and lower-50s.

Unfortunately, this cooler weather won't last too long. Temperatures will begin warming again Sunday and Monday. Rainfall chances remain very limited, with only a few isolated showers or thunderstorms possible Wednesday.

We are seeing some isolated showers across the region. We have some around Fordyce, and El Dorado areas. We also have a smaller lighter batch near De Queen. Not everyone sees rain but some could get some isolated showers throughout the rest of the day!

Good Tuesday morning Southwest Arkansas, let's take a look at what's in store for October 13th, 2026.

Starting out temperatures will be in the 60s, and 70s. Cloud cover will increase throughout the day as well as dew points making for a humid day. Highs will be in the upper-80s and lower to mid-90s. There is a small 10% chance of an isolated afternoon shower. Winds will be out of the southwest at around 5 to 15 mph. Overnight lows will be in the 60s and 70s.
