Please make sure to have a plan to vote this Thursday for our library!!! You can also vote early at the high school on Wednesday. Either way, just vote! 🗳️

Voting Day Is Almost Here: Remember that voting for a better library is Thursday, Dec. 12, 9:00 am - 9:00 pm at the library.

Think, now, about your optimal time to vote—at the beginning or the end of your day, or during lunch. Highlight it on your to-do list now!

Even better, can you take a neighbor or a friend?

Remember, we need a margin of only 1 yes vote to approve the project—and that could be your vote!

I’m your steward, Laura DiBetta, and I’d be honored to continue to serve on the Bethlehem Public Library Board!

As Trustee I will:

* Promote an inclusive and welcoming library for all.
* Defend against censorship attempts.
* Ensure the building project is transparent and responsible; incorporates sustainable design; and meets the needs of the library and community.

A total of eight candidates are running for three seats on the library board. You can learn more about me and all the candidates by watching a short recording of Meet the Candidates Night (link in comments). If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message here or reach out to me via Instagram -

And don’t forget to vote next Tuesday, May 21!!! Voting is at the high school from 7am-9pm. 🗳️

☀️ Happy Sunday! ☀️

We’ve gone from winter straight to summer. It’s going to be a spectacular day for a walk or bike ride. Visit the library and pick up a button to celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month and stand against racism.

May marks Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, also known as Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Heritage Month (AANHPI). It’s a month-long celebration of the accomplishments and contributions of a diverse community of people originating from many different countries and cultures, from Nepal, India, and Pakistan to Taiwan, Japan, and Korea, and many more.

The library has been restocked in celebration of AAPI month with stories for all ages:

✨The Sympathizer
✨Shanghai Girls
✨On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous
✨Front Desk
✨The Year of the Panda

Have you read any of these? Are you reading any others for AAPI Heritage Month? I’ve bumped a couple of books to the top of my TBR.
