Coca-Cola Fundraiser Celebration!

Today was a day full of fun, smiles, and celebrations at SFJH as we rewarded our students for their hard work during our Coca-Cola Fundraiser!

🍕 PIZZA PARTY TIME! Our Top 20 Sellers enjoyed a delicious pizza party today to celebrate their fundraising success!

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to our TOP 3 SELLERS!

🥉 3rd Place – Daxton

These outstanding students were recognized alongside our administration and even received a special visit from the Coca-Cola Polar Bear! 🐻‍❄️🥤

We want to give a HUGE thank you to all of our students, families, and community members who supported this fundraiser! Your generosity helps us provide student incentives, recognize positive behavior, and create opportunities that make SFJH such a special place.

🏀 BASKETBALL SEASON IS HERE! 🏀

What a way to kick off the season! Our SFJH basketball teams hit the court for THREE nights of action during Week 1!

🏀 Monday: Away at Maurepas
🏀 Tuesday: Home vs. Holden
🏀 Thursday: Away at Frost

💙 One of the biggest highlights of the week was Tuesday night's Mulecats game! Our very own Mulecats took the court and absolutely stole the show! These special athletes had their chance to shine, showing off their basketball skills, determination, and BIG smiles! We couldn't be prouder of these amazing students!

Tomorrow students can wear a school appropriate red shirt with jeans for Red Ribbon Week. Please remember that jeans cannot have any rips, holes, or tatters. Please review the "GUIDELINES FOR NON-UNIFORM DRESS DOWN DAYS" mentioned on p. 14 of the SFJH Student Handbook for more details on appropriate dress.

Literacy Night was a HUGE success!

On Thursday, October 22, we had a wonderful turnout of students and families for our Literacy Night!

Families traveled from classroom to classroom, participating in fun and engaging literacy games while enjoying an evening of learning, laughter, and quality time together! We also had pizza and drinks available to keep everyone fueled for the fun!

A special THANK YOU to our teachers and staff who worked hard to make this event possible and to all the families who came out to support our school!

We loved seeing our school community come together for such a fun evening!

This week, SFJH welcomes the Scholastic Book Fair! Students have an opportunity to visit the Book Fair during their ELA classes Monday and Tuesday, and can purchase items Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The Book Fair will also be open 5:30-7pm this Thursday during our Literacy Night. Cash, credit card, Apple Pay, and Scholastic E-Wallet are all accepted payment methods.

📚✨ Join us for Literacy Night at South Fork Junior High! ✨📚

Bring the family and join us on Thursday, October 22nd, from 5:30–7:00 PM for an evening of fun, games, and literacy-themed activities! 💙🩶

Students and their families will have the opportunity to visit 10 different interactive literacy stations, featuring games and challenges that encourage reading, creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork! Families may visit the stations in any order and participate at their own pace throughout the evening.

🌟 Students who attend and participate will earn BONUS POINTS in all four CORE subject classes!

📖 Scholastic Book Fair – Our Book Fair will be open during the event for families to shop!

🍕 Concessions – Pizza and drinks will be available for purchase!

‼️ IMPORTANT: All students must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event.

We look forward to a fun evening of learning, laughter, and family time with Bronco Nation! 📚💙🩶

LAST REMINDER: Our Coca-Cola fundraiser ends TODAY, October 15th. Completed order forms should be turned in TODAY to the SFJH office by 3:30pm. Parents/guardians should submit ONE payment through SchoolCash Online under their child’s name TODAY by 11:00 PM. No cash or checks will be accepted by the school.

Parent Pickup: All fundraiser orders must be picked up by a parent/guardian at SFJH on Wednesday, October 21st between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM. More information will be shared next week about pick-up.

Students who participate in the fundraiser can earn a variety of incentives and prizes based on their sales, including an opportunity to PIE a member of SFJH Admin in the face!
