Mrs. Curtis’s 5th grade Social Studies classes worked hard today building their research skills! Students practiced keyword searches, learned the importance of verifying information with World Book Online, and researched the Five Tribes of the Southeastern United States, recording their findings on “animal hides.” Their research skills continue to grow with every library visit!

Live Oak Middle students are on a roll!!!!! Congratulations to Jackson on completing MESH, congratulations to Alaynna and Skyla for reading five titles for LYRC, and congratulations to Avery, Jordan, and Aaliyah on completing the 40 BC….

AND, an extra CONGRATULATIONS to Aaliyah, Jordan, and Skyla because all three girls have finished all THREE of our reading challenges. Way to go!!!!!
