Today, we had the opportunity to host an electrical safety training provided by Central Maine Power (CMP). We were also glad to welcome members of our neighboring Hiram and Brownfield Fire Departments to join us.
The training included an outdoor demonstration covering electrical hazards, power lines, storm and outage situations, and the unique dangers first responders may encounter during emergency calls
A huge thank you to CMP for taking the time to provide this valuable training and helping ensure our first responders have the knowledge to keep themselves, their crews, and our communities safe.
We also appreciate our neighboring departments for joining us. Training together makes all of our departments stronger and better prepared when it matters most. 🚒⚡️
