October is Principal Appreciation Month, and our Colts are showing Mrs. San Miguel some love! 💜 Our custodial staff and Teach Denton students surprised her with thoughtful gifts and a nicely decorated door to celebrate all she does for CMS.

Thank you, Mrs. San Miguel, for your care, leadership, and commitment to our students and staff, and thank you to those who helped make her feel appreciated!

We are incredibly proud of our Honors Band students who competed in the District Band individual auditions! These Colts represented CMS with talent, preparation, and courage. Several earned a spot in the District Band or came just one chair away! 💜

Congratulations to every student who auditioned, earned a District Band chair, or advanced as an alternate. Reaching this level through an individual audition is an accomplishment worth celebrating!

A special thank you to Mrs. Osborne, Ms. Moore, and our CMS Band program for continuing to help our Colts grow as musicians and performers.

Today, on National Custodian Appreciation Day, we celebrate the people whose care and hard work make Calhoun a welcoming place to learn. 💜

To our wonderful custodial team: we see you, we value you, and we are grateful for all you do. Your work touches every student, every classroom, and every school day.

Our advisory students and teachers poured their gratitude into thoughtful, heartfelt cards, and our IB Ambassadors helped deliver those messages of appreciation. This is our IB community putting caring into action!

Thank you for taking care of our campus and the people in it. You make a difference at CMS every day!
