Ryan Raider Families!

Advocacy is a vital part of what we do in PTA to empower families, and we heard from many of you that you would like to learn more about the role of the State Board of Education (SBOE) and our candidates to represent us in District 14.

Denton ISD Council of PTAs is thrilled to host our first SBOE Candidate Forum. Mark your calendars to join us:

Tuesday, September 29 at 6:00PM
Ryan High School Fine Arts Center
5101 E McKinney St, Denton 76208

In this forum, each candidate will answer a series of questions from a list provided in advance. Attendees may submit questions when they arrive, and some will be selected for our candidates to answer at the end. This is a great opportunity to hear directly from the candidates and determine what matters most for you and your family. You may also share interest to help us plan and submit questions in advance here.

We are partnering with other PTAs and Councils in District 14 to ensure we have representation from across the large area that encompasses our district - but we need you to make sure we reach our local community.

- Voter Registration and Address Change Deadline: Monday, 10/5
- Early Voting: Monday, 10/19 - Friday, 10/30
- Vote by Mail: Requests must be received by Friday, 10/23
- Election Day: Tuesday 11/3

As you can see, your voice matters - so be sure to join the Ryan PTA at the Denton ISD Council of PTAs State Board of Education Forum next Tuesday!
