🌙 Meet Moon, an 8-year-old beauty who's been waiting for her home for over TWO MONTHS. We're hoping her perfect person sees this soon!

Moon is full of personality and keeps life interesting. She's clever enough to open dresser drawers and pull clothes out, and if there's a door between her and the rest of the house, she'll probably try to figure out how to open that too! This girl loves her freedom and enjoys roaming, exploring, and finding the best spots to keep an eye on her people.

While Moon isn't a full-time lap cat, she absolutely loves being near her humans. She'll happily hang out beside you, watch the world from a window, and occasionally hop onto the couch for a quick cuddle. She's sweet, affectionate, and has an incredibly gentle temperament. Even when she had to endure some unpleasant deworming medication, she remained loving and trusting.

Moon is looking for a home where she can be the star of the show. She does not enjoy sharing her space with other animals so she needs to be the only princess in the home.

Quincy has a gentle, thoughtful personality and shows his affection in subtle, meaningful ways. Once he feels comfortable, he'll lean in for chin and head scratches, quietly seek your company, and happily settle nearby just to be close.

A devoted Churu enthusiast, Quincy can always be won over with a tasty treat. He thrives in calm, low-key environments where he can relax, observe, and enjoy peaceful moments with his favorite people.

Update: Frogger was the fan-favorite name amongst staff, and little Frogger is currently in foster care, getting chunky and big before he can be neutered. And: the amazing officer who scooped this lucky guy up has fallen in love with him enough to adopt him, too! A full circle happy story!!!!! Thank you all for your support and incredible name suggestions!!

HIGHWAY HITCHHIKER RESCUED! 🐱🚨

This morning started with a call of a tiny kitten running loose in the middle of the highway. Our incredible Animal Protection Officers responded immediately and arrived to find this little daredevil weaving through traffic, completely unaware of just how dangerous their morning adventure had become. Thanks to the quick actions, patience, and dedication of our team, the kitten was safely rescued and removed from harm's way. This tiny little hitchhiker is now safe, warm, and settling into our nursery!

While we may never know exactly how this little one ended up on the highway, we do know that today could have had a very different ending without the compassion and commitment of our Animal Protection Officers. Every day, they respond to calls involving animals in distress, often in challenging and unpredictable situations, and today was no exception.

We're incredibly grateful for this amazing team and the work they do to protect the animals in our community. Please help us give them a well-deserved round of thank yous!!

Korra has been at the shelter for over three weeks with no interest, and we're convinced her future family just hasn't seen her yet!

This beautiful tabico is about 1 year old and absolutely full of personality. Korra is a social, chatty girl who loves to tell you all about her day with the cutest chirps and meows. She's always ready to investigate what you're doing, help with your chores (whether you asked for help or not), and soak up all the pets and attention she can get.

Korra loves being part of the action and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a cat that's equal parts affectionate, entertaining, and adorable. She definitely has a little princess energy and would prefer to be the only cat in the home!
