Good Morning Community 🙂‍↔️
Long-time no talk huh? I wanted to come here and clear some things up ♥️

1. I had all intentions to run for schoolboard in 2023, I’ve lived in Colorado all my life but my address was from Denver, I hadn’t switched my voters registration yet which had made me ineligible, even though I could prove residency for a year prior.

2. That gave me an opportunity to increase my work in the city of Aurora and currate stronger partnerships to do the current youth work specialize in at The Lounge (follow us and stay up to date)

3. I will be back on the ballot within the next two years! I am now taking this time asking community what they need and will represent them as such!

I am here to serve you, we need real change in our community at the ROOT of our systems, I’m here and I’m ready 💯

My name is Aspen Chin and I am running for APS Schoolboard for the year 24-25. Unfortunately, I had to postpone my campaign for the year 23-24 because I got caught on a technicality of Address. I have taken care of that and now put myself in GREAT STANDING for the next election. In the meantime, I am still very present in the community like I have been. I plan to support the people in the office and the ones planning to get in the office to better assist the students and families of Aurora.
The board has such an important job and I know they can't do it alone. They have myself and all the community leaders I am connected to behind them. Whether it's at a chair or alongside them.
