Women’s History Month isn’t just about celebrating history — it’s about continuing it.
Trailblazers didn’t wait for permission.
They challenged systems.
They demanded seats at tables.
They created new tables when necessary.
We don’t inherit progress by accident.
We inherit it because women before us were brave enough to disrupt.
So here’s to the women who lead loudly, love fiercely, and refuse to be limited.
We are not the exception.
We are the evolution.

Last night, our very own Corporal P. showcased her incredible strength and determination, emerging victorious in the *Battle of the Badges 2*! 🥇 After 20 years since the last Battle of the Badges, this event was brilliantly organized by Founder and President James Seneca, Cops Fighting Cancer.
A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support this phenomenal officer and our dedicated Denver Police Officers. Your presence made the night unforgettable! 🙌🏿
Together, we stand proud and united in our commitment to serving our community. Let’s keep the momentum going! 💪🏿🚔

Black excellence is honoring the sacrifices of those before us by walking boldly into spaces they were denied and leaving the door open behind us.✊🏾👑
It was an honor gathering with the Denver Black Firefighter Alliance to celebrate and highlight the Black excellence within public safety across the City and County of Denver. Representation matters. Leadership matters. Excellence matters.

We should all be alarmed when the highest office in the nation is used to mock, intimidate, or inflame, especially when it targets people who represent progress, excellence, and service.
This is what racism in power looks like:
mockery instead of leadership,
division instead of accountability,
provocation instead of policy.
If you’re not outraged by this, ask yourself why.
Because normalizing this behavior is how it keeps happening.
Racism doesn’t always wear a hood.
Sometimes it holds the highest office in the country.

Black history is not passive—it’s strategic.
• Bring your own chair and demand a seat at the table.
• Infiltrate spaces that were never designed with us in mind.
• Become doctors so our communities receive care with dignity.
• Become lawmakers so our voices shape policy, not just protests.
• Become police officers to enforce justice, not fear.
• Become bankers to end predatory lending and build generational wealth.
Representation is not enough.
Position is power.
Black history is still being written—by us. 🖤✊🏾

On this MLK Day, let’s remember that Dr. King challenged us to do more than feel outrage. He called us to speak up, to stand firm, and to act when it matters most. Silence in the face of injustice is not neutrality, it is a choice.
Today, and every day, may we choose courage over comfort and action over silence.
