Denver remains the place to visit and explore. A new study from Longwoods International shows Denver set a new tourism record in 2025, bringing 37.5 million domestic visitors and $10.5 billion in spending to the Mile High City.

When we said we would take on Denver’s toughest challenges, we meant it. For the first time in nearly a decade, overall homelessness is down in Denver.
This progress belongs to the outreach workers, service providers, city teams, volunteers and community partners who show up every day believing every person deserves safety, dignity and a place to call home.
The latest Point-In-Time Count shows:
⬇️ Overall homelessness down 12.5%
⬇️ Street homelessness down 64% since 2023
⬇️ Youth street homelessness down 57%
We still have work to do, but Denver is proving that when a city comes together and stays focused on people, progress is possible.
This is a milestone moment for all of us.

Another incredible season for the . While we fell short of the ultimate goal, you gave us so many moments to celebrate and be proud of.
From MacKinnon’s MVP-caliber year to Makar continuing to redefine greatness on the blue line and Landeskog’s inspiring perseverance and leadership, you represented Denver with heart, grit and determination.
Thank you for bringing our community together all season long.

Every Memorial Day, families, friends and strangers gather to remember those who gave everything for our country and the freedoms we often take for granted.
In moments of division or uncertainty, their courage reminds us that the freedoms we cherish, to speak openly, advocate for what we believe in and work toward a better future, were defended by people willing to give their lives for others.
The best way we can honor their legacy is by showing up for one another, strengthening our communities and continuing the work of building communities worthy of their sacrifice.

Last night, a young person lost their life due to senseless gun violence. No statement can sum up the grief we feel today. Our hearts are broken, and we are left stunned by the fact that our beloved Montbello Rec Center has become the site of such a terrible tragedy. My deepest sympathies are with the family and the Montbello community.
