Loveland-based Vectis Automation is one of the Top 10 finalists in the 2026 Coolest Thing Made in Colorado competition for its collaborative robot, or “cobot,” welding systems.

Vectis pioneered commercially successful cobot welding systems in North America in 2019, creating technology that can safely work alongside employees without the extensive safety fencing typically required by traditional industrial robots. Workers can even teach the system by manually guiding the cobot through the desired path, reducing the need for complex robot programming.

A HUGE congratulations to Peter Daniell of Broomfield, who just won the 2026 National Civics Bee Championship in Washington, D.C.! 🏆

Peter, a student at Stargate Charter School, competed against students from across the country to claim the national title and a $100,000 contribution to his education savings plan!

Organized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the third annual championship brought together 52 finalists representing all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and American Samoa.

Daniell’s path to the national championship included winning the Arvada regional competition before taking first place among 26 students at the Colorado State Finals on July 24. The Colorado Chamber Foundation hosted the state finals, presented by Kinder Morgan in partnership with the Daniels Fund, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and El Pomar Foundation.

The Colorado Chamber strongly opposes Amendment 87, and we stand with the Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce in urging Coloradans to vote NO.

At a time when businesses are already struggling with rising costs, Colorado cannot afford a massive tax increase that threatens small businesses, job creation and our state's economic competitiveness.

Amendment 87 could have significant consequences for Colorado’s small businesses, jobs and economic competitiveness.

In a new editorial, Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Candace Carnahan explains why the Chamber opposes the proposed graduated income tax and raises concerns about its potential impact on local employers.

The proposal would nearly double Colorado’s top marginal income tax rate, from 4.4% to 8.4%, potentially affecting business earnings that owners retain for hiring, equipment, expansion and financial stability.

A look back at an incredible afternoon at the Colorado Chamber's 2026 Annual Meeting Luncheon!

We were honored to welcome veteran political strategist and national political commentator Donna Brazile for a special keynote conversation with Colorado Chamber President and CEO Loren Furman. Thank you to Donna for filling the room with humor, stories and insights on leadership and the issues shaping our nation's future.

The afternoon also brought together business and community leaders from across Colorado for meaningful conversations about our state's economy and future, including a gubernatorial candidate forum featuring Phil Weiser and Victor Marx, moderated by Ed Sealover.
