Today marked an incredible day! We have successfully concluded our partnership with Denver Human Rights & Community Partnerships Aging Well Program. The time spent engaging with community members in discussions about emergencies, preparedness, and ways to enhance confidence and support during difficult situations was truly valuable. Grateful for the enlightening conversations, connections, and opportunity to collaboratively build resilience.

Denver, it’s going to be a hot one today.

Temperatures are expected to hit around 90° by 3 PM, and that’s when heat can really start to take a toll on your body.

Heat is more than just uncomfortable. It can become dangerous quickly, especially for kids, older adults, pets, and anyone spending time outside.

Keep an eye out for signs like dizziness, heavy sweating, nausea, or feeling weak.

A few simple ways to stay safe today:
💧 Drink water throughout the day
🧊 Take breaks in the shade or head indoors when you can
👕 Wear light, breathable clothing
🚗 Never leave kids or pets in a car

If you can, check in on someone who might need help staying cool.

Let’s take care of each other, Denver ☀️
