Colorado UpLift is an amazing youth service organization building the next generation of urban leaders

Hope has an address.

Colorado UpLift broke ground on the Colorado UpLift Community Campus - a permanent home for the mentorship and leadership programs that have been changing the lives of Denver and Aurora's youth for 43 years.

The moment that stopped the crowd?

A local mom stepped to the microphone and said: this community needs a safe space. A place where students can just be kids.

No script. No talking points. Just a mother who knows what is missing - and what this campus will finally provide.

We heard from the donors who made this possible. We heard from community leaders who have watched UpLift work for years. And two UpLift students stood up and told us what this organization has meant for them -not the building, but the relationship. The adult who showed up. The place that became home before there was even a home to point to.

Just over $8 million secured. $15 million is the goal. The campaign is open.

If you believe one relationship can change a young life - this is what that belief looks like when a community builds it together.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this day possible!

Our staff and students showed up with heart, determination, and community spirit at the Colfax 5K.

Every step was more than just part of a race — it was a reminder of what happens when we encourage one another, push past limits, and keep moving forward together.

We're so proud of our students and grateful for the staff who continue to walk, run, mentor, and lead alongside them. This is what UpLift is all about! 🧡

Special shout out to for training support, race day support, hydration partnerships with RNWY and GU, and providing every student participant with exclusive BMR Colorado medals! We're grateful for your partnership and being the village our students need.

We gathered for more than a graduation and scholarship presentation party. It was a reminder of what long-term, life-changing relationships can build.

Eighteen students received scholarships — and one very lucky student received a full ride. Sixty-three students were presented with their Colorado UpLift graduation cords.

But those cords are not just a program completed.

They represent the van rides. The mountain trips. The after-school conversations. The Teacher/Mentor who answered the phone. The adults who kept showing up. The moments when someone looked a young person in the eye and said, “Your future is great, and it matters.”

One by one, our Teacher/Mentors brought their students onto the stage and placed those cords around their necks themselves.

That is what made the night so powerful.

Moments like that do not happen by accident. They happen because a community decides to show up — year after year, relationship by relationship.

Congratulations, Class of 2026. We are so proud of you. Once you are part of UpLift, you are always part of UpLift. Your story is still being written, and we cannot wait to see where it goes next. 🎓

Our latest service trip to Tijuana, Mexico was a powerful reminder of what leadership looks like in action.
Colorado UpLift student, staff and donors stepped up as servant leaders, helping build homes for three families and showing what can happen when compassion turns into action.
We are so proud of the way they served, worked hard, and represented the heart of UpLift.
This is what it's all about: building leaders who use their lives to make a difference.

Our newest team members didn’t just step into roles—they stepped into relationships, into purpose, into the heart of what we do. From day one, they’ve shown up ready to build, to lead, and to pour into our students in ways that truly matter.

We don’t take it lightly—finding people who feel called to this mission is rare. And we know we’ve found something special in this group.

Grateful for the energy, passion, and excellence they’re already bringing to our Community of Excellence. The future is brighter because of them. 🧡🧡

After 32 incredible years, Inez Robinson is stepping into a well-earned retirement. 🧡

Today we celebrate someone who didn’t just work at Colorado UpLift—she lived the mission. Across every role she stepped into, her heart stayed the same: building long-term, life-changing relationships with hundreds of students who are better because she showed up, believed in them, and never gave up on them.

Inez brought a vibrant spirit, contagious energy, and a standard of excellence that shaped not just students—but all of us. She made this place feel like family, pushed us to be better, and reminded us why this work matters.

It’s hard to imagine UpLift without her. It won’t be the same. And yet, because of her, it will continue to be stronger.

Inez, you will be deeply missed and forever part of the heart of UpLift. Thank you for 32 years of impact, love, and legacy

So grateful for the community who showed up, rolled up their sleeves, and helped build desks for our team. What may look like furniture is really the foundation for the work ahead—spaces where students are supported, relationships are built, and futures are shaped. This is what community looks like. Thank you for believing in the mission and showing up in such a tangible way. 🛠️❤️
