The newly renovated Ross-Phyllis Bigpond Branch Library reopens on Monday, June 15, at 10 a.m., unveiling a reimagined community space featuring expanded access, modern upgrades, and a new co-name honoring Native American community leader Phyllis Bigpond.

Community members are also invited to a grand reopening celebration on Saturday, July 11.

“Libraries are built by and for the communities they serve, and this exciting renovation reflects what the neighborhood told us they wanted and needed from their library,” said Nicolle Davies, city librarian and executive director. “From expanded gathering spaces to improved accessibility for customers, Ross-Phyllis Bigpond Branch Library was thoughtfully reimagined to be a
welcoming place where people of all ages can connect, learn, and feel at home.”
