We bring joy, nourishment, and needed resources to multiple generations while celebrating and preserving different cultures and traditions. Reaching Out to Seniors / Elders 60+

SWIC has various classes and a free VOA lunch Monday to Friday for SW Denver residents 60+ years of age. SWIC’s goal for residents 60+ is to enhance a suitable living environment by recruiting Seniors to engage in activities such as senior fitness, art class, sewing/crafts, bingo, aging gratefully support group, table tennis. Services are open to Denver residents in the Westwood, Athmar, Valverde, Marlee, Ruby Hill, and Barnum neighborhoods. SWIC Mission Statement: Our Mission is to empower people, improve the quality of their lives, and advance human rights by tackling difficult community issues at little or no costs to clients. “People Helping People” is SWIC’s tagline in serving the community. Everyone is welcome.
