HB26-1113, “Modifications to Elections,” has been signed into law! New chain of custody requirements and emergency provisions allow the state to respond in the event of emergencies; mail ballots will be sent to voters sooner, and drop boxes open sooner beginning with the 2026 General Election.

County Clerks will begin to mail ballots next week – visit GoVoteColorado.gov for trusted election information, including where you can find voter centers, drop boxes, and important deadlines for the June Primary Election.
