Congratulations to our North Miami FFA Parliamentary Procedure Team!

We are proud to celebrate our Parliamentary Procedure Team for earning a Silver Ranking at the National FFA Convention!

Throughout the competition, our students showcased their knowledge and skills in parliamentary procedure by completing a written exam, participating in a team activity, and presenting a parliamentary procedure demonstration using Robert’s Rules of Order.

We are incredibly proud of these students for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to representing North Miami FFA on the national stage!

Congratulations to Jesus Santana!

Yesterday, Jesus was recognized on stage at the National FFA Convention as one of the Top 4 National Finalists in the Agricultural Education Proficiency Award!

Being named one of the top four in the nation is an incredible accomplishment and a true reflection of his hard work, dedication, and passion for agriculture.

We are so proud of Jesus and the way he has represented North Miami FFA on the national stage!

North Miami FFA is representing Indiana on the national stage!

Our North Miami FFA members are taking their years of hard work, dedication, and teamwork to downtown Indianapolis to compete in the Parliamentary Procedure Leadership Development Event (LDE) at the 99th National FFA Convention & Expo!

This prestigious competition challenges students in parliamentary law, live debate, and quick decision-making, helping prepare the next generation of agricultural and community leaders.

North Miami is incredibly proud of our FFA program and the countless opportunities it provides for our Warriors! From developing leadership skills and building confidence to opening doors to new experiences and future opportunities, FFA helps our students grow both inside and outside the classroom. We are so proud to see our Warriors taking their talents to the national stage and representing our school and community!

Congratulations to our FFA members on reaching the national stage! We wish them the best of luck in competition and are incredibly proud of the opportunities our FFA program continues to create for our Warriors!

Our North Miami High School Band and Choir students took a field trip to Sweetwater in Fort Wayne! They learned about the history of the music store and explored possible future careers in the music business.

The fun didn’t stop there! Students participated in a drum circle led by a super fun instructor, explored the store, tried out instruments, took a ride down the two-story metal slide, and more!

What a great opportunity to learn, explore, and experience the many possibilities that come with a love of music!

Our fourth-grade students had the opportunity to attend Forestry Day, hosted by our High School Agriculture Department!

Students learned about different species of trees, how to identify them, and the many ways we use trees in our everyday lives—from making maple syrup to providing materials for building.

A great hands-on learning experience for our Warriors!

North Miami Community Schools is thrilled to celebrate Karasyn Kuhn, a Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation Semi-finalist! Chosen from more than 113,000 applicants nationwide, Karasyn is being recognized for leadership, service, and academic excellence.

What an incredible weekend for North Miami FFA! We had 30 of our Warriors travel to Brazil, Indiana, to compete in the Indiana State Soil Judging Contest!

**Some exciting highlights from the weekend!**

**Sarah Snavely earned a PERFECT SCORE of 462 points!** Earning a perfect score in soil judging is a rare and impressive accomplishment, and we are incredibly proud of Sarah for achieving it!

**Naomi Snavely earned an outstanding 457 points in the Junior Division!** Naomi dropped only FIVE points throughout the entire contest! We believe this may be one of the highest scores ever earned in the Junior Division, making it an especially exciting accomplishment!

**Our Master Team #1 earned 1st place and brought home the coveted Silver Spade Award** for being the highest-scoring team in the contest! This was an especially meaningful accomplishment for Mr. Wildermuth and our Warriors!

**Our Junior FFA #1 team earned the State Championship!**

**Our North Miami 4-H #1 team earned 2nd place and qualified for the National Soil Judging Contest in Oklahoma this May!** Congratulations to Addi, Maddie, Halle, and Brandon!

Before Saturday's competition, our Warriors spent Friday practicing in soil pits and learning about the unique soils of southern Indiana, including drainage characteristics in loess soils and fragipan limiting layers. Despite the chilly weather, our Warriors enjoyed the opportunity to explore different soils, strengthen their skills, and learn from the experience. They even squeezed in some team bonding with a bowling trip!

We are incredibly proud of the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of ALL our Warriors! Their success represents countless hours of practice, preparation, and a willingness to learn!
