🎊 Celebrating a CNA Founding Member: Humane Colorado!

We're pawsitivly thrilled to share this one! 🐾

As Colorado Nonprofit Association celebrates 40 years, we’re proud to recognize the organizations that have been part of our community from the very beginning, including Humane Colorado, formerly known as the Dumb Friends League.

For more than 115 years, Humane Colorado has been a champion for animals across our state, working to end pet homelessness and animal suffering through compassionate care, adoption services, affordable veterinary care, education, and community outreach.

Their impact is remarkable! In 2025 alone, Humane Colorado welcomed more than 17,000 homeless pets into its shelters, provided nearly 300,000 nights of safety for animals in need, and served more than 28,000 pets through its Community Veterinary Services. 🐶🐱

For 40 years, Humane Colorado has also been part of the CNA community, demonstrating the incredible impact nonprofits can have when compassion, collaboration, and community come together.

We may need a little time to recover, but seeing everyone connect, learn, and celebrate the nonprofit sector made it all worth it. 💙

Election Day is November 3rd!

As Coloradans prepare to cast their ballots, nonprofits have an important role to play in supporting civic engagement and helping their communities make informed decisions.

Whether your organization is conducting voter registration activities, educating communities about ballot measures, or simply sharing election resources, there are many ways nonprofits can legally and effectively participate.

CNA is looking for a Programs & Resources Manager to help shape the learning, resources, and connections that support nonprofit professionals across Colorado.

This role will lead the ex*****on of CNA’s statewide educational programs, leadership development opportunities, resources, and publications. From conferences and workshops to virtual trainings, roundtables, and digital resources, you’ll help make sure nonprofits across the state have access to relevant, high-quality tools and learning opportunities.

We’re looking for someone who loves bringing big ideas to life, building relationships, managing programs and people, and finding new ways to help Colorado’s nonprofit sector thrive.

✨ Full-time, exempt
📍 Some travel across Colorado required
💼 3–5+ years of relevant experience preferred
