Great opportunity for Humboldt Neighbors to join in the conversation about the East Central Area Plan Initiative. If you did not attend the Community Workshop you can still learn and participate at denvergov.org/eastcentralplan

Our HSNA organizing committee has done a great job working with PUMA and the East Central Steering Committee to help shape the plan and guide the discussion to preserve the integrity of our neighborhood. Please take some time to read through it, log your comments or concerns and stay informed.

Capital Hill United Neighborhood recently gave their Neighborhood Character Award to Humboldt Street Neighborhood Association. This acknowledgement honors all the hard work that so many have put in for many years and most recently in our efforts to protect all Denver neighborhoods from possible negative impact of parking exemptions for larger
Developments on small lots. David Engelken and Tricia Huth collected the award at a recent CHUN awards dinner. Thank you to so many of you for years of hard work and dedication to this wonderful block!

New planning initiative (NPI) announced by City and County of Denver. Why do we need more neighborhood planning? Currently, only about 20 percent of Denver has an up-to-date area plan. The rest of the city either has a plan that predates 2002’s Blueprint Denver land use and transportation plan, or has no plan at all.

If you've wondered what to do or how to stay involved check out the NPI Strategic Plan Review Draft
