This funding is critical to the state’s ability to maintain health care programs.

It would provide more opportunities to support Community Health Centers (CHCs), which is important because 70% of CHCs reported negative or no operating margins in the past year, and some have already been forced to make hard decisions like letting go of staff, reducing services, and consolidating clinics.
