Where did all the pennies go? Who decides what a dollar is worth?

On October 20 at 6:30 p.m., bring the money questions you're afraid to ask to our Park Hill branch and we'll answer them together, with experts on hand to help. Plus, show off your hidden stupid talents. How big can you blow up a dollar store balloon? Can you guess the price of a pair of binoculars?

We'll also have clowning from Alice Gillette, live dollar bill caricatures from Elena Gunderson, live music from the Man of 1000 Songs, and more!

🎭 Shakespeare is coming to Acoma Plaza!

Join us for free, abridged performances of two Shakespeare classics from Denver Center for the Performing Arts’ touring Shakespeare in the Parking Lot program.

📍 Acoma Plaza, outside the west entrance of Central Library
📅 Saturday, October 10
🎟️ Free & open to all ages!

🧚 12–1 p.m.: A Midsummer Night’s Dream — a comedy filled with mischief, love and magic.
💔 2–3 p.m.: Romeo & Juliet — a timeless tragedy of love between two teens from feuding families.

Bring your own blanket or chair! Limited bench seating will be available around the plaza.
