The DSD proudly joined Colorado law enforcement partners at the annual Special Olympics Colorado 2026 Tribute at the Capitol. We were thrilled by the strong turnout, especially as Academy Class 2026‑2 participated in the race, made possible thanks to a generous sponsorship from the Black Sheriff's Protective Association (BSPA). The Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) event continues to be a powerful celebration of inclusion, unity, and support for the more than 30,000 Special Olympics Colorado athletes and we are honored to participate.
