Sabbatical day 1.
A final look back with gratitude for the opportunity you gave me to transform Denver’s role in Housing. 2011: $0 local funds, barely 1 aff housing policy. Today: dozens of policies, headed toward ~$1 billion (locally) invested in new homes, rental assistance, resolving homelessness and stability for ~100,000 households by 2030-a foundation for your next leaders to build upon. Denver Health and Denver International Airport will remain open. Denver Police Department, Denver Sheriff Department, Denver Fire Department, and First Responders will be reporting for duty as usual.
