It gives me great comfort to share a post with a Typo, that was NOT my fault!! 🤣

This 1895 program for the Elitch's Zoological Gardens and Theatre contained a HUGE error -- it says it is from the 1885 season, but John and Mary Elitch didn't even purchase the gardens property until 1887. Ooops! Typo! 😂

However, no need to gloat, we've made our share of mistakes! This was just another opportunity to share some history. Cool program cover from 1895 (not 1885!)

𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 screening of Ghostbusters on Friday, June 12! Doors open at 6:00 pm and the film starts at 7:00 pm.

Before the show, snap a photo with our very own Stay Puft Marshmallow Man — bring your phone and grab a memory your kids will talk about all summer! There's also a Ghostbusters costume contest, so dress to impress.

Concessions will be available, and every purchase helps support the preservation of this beloved Denver landmark.

If social media had been around in the early 1900s, Sarah Bernhardt would have had ALL the followers! Think of Taylor Swift and Beyonce, in one person! Sarah was IT.

Carnation Theatre Company presents CARRIE The Musical, a dark contemporary musical which follows Stephen King’s infamous Carrie White. Carrie is a teenage outcast who longs to fit in. At school, she’s bullied by the popular crowd, and virtually invisible to everyone else. At home, she’s dominated by her loving but cruelly controlling mother. What none of them know is that Carrie’s just discovered she’s got a special power, and if pushed too far, she’s not afraid to use it.
