VMSS students and staff, along with community members, participated in the 2024 Carry the Load relay walk. This nation wide annual event honors veterans, active-duty military, and first responders. Consider joining us next year!

Memorial Day is a national holiday to recognize, honor, and respect veterans of military service who have passed.

This year, Memorial Day is recognized on Monday, May 27, 2024.

The freedoms we enjoy as a country would not be if not for the service of the brave few who have served our country selflessly.

Their service will never be forgotten.

This weekend, as you recognize and honor your loved ones, please know you are not alone in your gratitude, respect, and recognition.

To our veterans and active-duty members still with us, thank you for your service.

Happy Veterans Day! In 2023, just 6.2% of the U.S. adult population are veterans of military service and less than .04% of the U.S. population are currently serving active duty.

This Veterans Day, take a moment to thank the veterans in your life.

We recognize that many of the freedoms we know would not be, if not for you. We honor, acknowledge, and pay respect to the sacrifices you have made while in service to our country.
