DOTI is inviting residents to leave their mark on the city through a new Sidewalk Stamp Contest, an opportunity to design a stamp that will be embedded in sidewalks across Denver for years to come. The winning design will become a lasting feature of the city’s public spaces and receive a $1,000 prize. Denver City Council member Sarah Parady announces resignation due to health challenges
She will formally resign on Aug. 5, within 90 days of the regularly scheduled municipal election, to keep the city from needing to hold a special election, she said.

This week Denver City Council sent its budget priorities for 2027 to Mayor Mike Johnston that were identified during the Council's annual budget session held on May 14, 2026. Our goals focus on protecting essential services, investing in safer neighborhoods, supporting working families, and building a stronger, more resilient Denver.
