Hilltop and Washington Virginia Vale residents: This week, DOTI is paving East Alameda Avenue from Dahlia Street to Monaco Street. Crews will work to keep one travel lane open in each direction. Please consider alternate routes to avoid delays.

Exciting improvements are underway at Montclair Park! The playground is getting a renovation, with construction expected to be completed by the end of the year. We can’t wait for the community to enjoy the refreshed space!

This is an opportunity for residents in District 5 to ask questions, share concerns, discuss neighborhood issues, and learn more about local resources.

Hale residents: Starting as early as Wednesday, October 14, DOTI will begin milling operations on East 8th Avenue from Colorado Blvd to Holly Street between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The team plans to prioritize keeping one travel lane open in the westbound direction. If necessary, they may need to provide the travel lane going eastbound instead. In either instance, East 6th Avenue will be the posted detour route.

Denver City Council has sent Mayor Mike Johnston our recommendations for the 2027 city budget, with a focus on restoring essential services, strengthening public safety, improving transportation, and supporting Denver residents and small businesses.

Join Mayfair Neighbors Inc. this Saturday, October 10, from 9 a.m.–12 p.m. for the 2026 Fall Shred-a-Thon at the King Soopers parking lot at 13th Ave. & Kearney St.

This paper-only recycling event is open to the public, with up to three bags or boxes allowed. The cost is $20 for non-members and free for current members. Donations are welcome, and non-members can join or renew their membership to shred for free.
