Colorado LiftED Foundation Colorado Dream Foundation is now Colorado LiftED Foundation. Colorado "I Have A Dream" Foundation is a long-term partner to youth.

Our mission remains the same, but our work has grown over time, including access to mental health services and expanded support through early adulthood, up to age 25. We believe that through a deep, sustained commitment to students and their families, our community can thrive, and our work together can be a key catalyst in fighting systemic oppression. We travel side-by-side with the same group of youth and their families as they navigate education and life, offering academic, social, and emotional support as they learn, grow, and achieve their dreams. No one should take this journey alone. When we fulfill our promises, anything is possible. Since our founding in 1988, Colorado "I Have A Dream" Foundation has leveraged proven methods accounting for the whole child and giving youth equal access to the resources they need to succeed, ignite their innate potential, and attain their dreams. Colorado "I Have A Dream" Foundation removes barriers to academic success from elementary school to career through a comprehensive support model focused on four key components: Academic Development, Emotional Wellness Development, College & Career Development, and Systems Advocacy.

Career Nights (and Days) are officially underway for our high school youth! 🏛️💼

They spent time connecting with leaders across the justice system—including U.S. District Court Judge S. Kato Crews, the President of the Colorado Bar Association, and a room full of attorneys, paralegals, and courtroom professionals.

From touring a federal court to sharing lunch and networking at a law firm, our high schoolers gained priceless insights into the legal field.

Shout out to our youth for stepping into these spaces and to our staff for making it all happen! 🙌✨

Students from both schools have been busy getting creative and painting pumpkins to prep for our Family Night next week. It’s been wonderful watching our elementary and middle schoolers express themselves, build community, and get excited for what's ahead. We can't wait to see all of our families there! 🧡✨

Our high school youth had the opportunity to visit WilmerHale for a hands-on professional skills workshop! 🎤

From practicing their elevator pitches to learning how to confidently introduce themselves, our youth gained valuable skills to help them prepare for future opportunities.

🤝 A big thank you to WilmerHale for welcoming our youth, sharing your expertise, and investing in their growth!

Opportunities like these help our youth build confidence, make connections, and explore what's possible for their futures.

Today, we recognize Indigenous Peoples’ Day and honor the Indigenous communities whose histories, cultures, and contributions are an essential part of Colorado's past, present, and future.

It's a day to listen, learn, and recognize the voices, stories, and traditions that continue to shape our communities.

On World Teachers’ Day, we’re celebrating the teachers, educators, and after-school instructors who build the relationships that help youth grow, gain confidence, and imagine what’s possible for their futures.

We’re especially grateful for our Colorado LiftED team, who show up with care, encouragement, and consistency for our youth.

Real impact doesn't happen in a vacuum—futures are shaped through the everyday relationships we build right now.

Huge shoutout to Kyara and Cain on our team for the amazing way they build intentional connections at Westwood Community Center ! 🌟

Kyara took creativity to the next level by designing custom "junk journals," giving the youth a unique space to capture daily reflections through drawing, stickers, and writing. Cain jumped right in, sitting down to draw alongside one of them and showing what real relationship-building looks like in action.

It’s these thoughtful moments that make our programming so special. Thank you both for making such a positive impact! 🎨✨

Hispanic Heritage Month honors the histories, cultures, and contributions of people with roots in Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.

At Colorado LiftED Foundation, we're proud to celebrate the Hispanic, Latino, and Latin American heritage woven throughout our LiftED community. Whether your roots trace to a Spanish-speaking nation or elsewhere across Latin America, your story is part of what makes our community strong.
