I enjoyed smelling the boots (reminded me of home) of and getting lots of attention from the 7 Rodeo Queens who visited us this morning. π€ πΎπ I got to assist with their Capitol Tour, which included the dome!

Thank you to all of the amazing farm dogs who work hard to support our farmers and ranchers! You all are the good boys and good girls of agriculture! πΎ
AFBF is hosting its People's Choice Pup Contest, which is part of the annual Farm Dog of the Year campaign, now in its eighth year. This contest aims to celebrate farm dogs and the many ways they support farmers and ranchers.
There are three dogs nominated for the People's Choice Pup award: Bubbles the Border Collie from Montana, Goose the Red Heeler from Kentucky, and Ruby Hope the red fox Lab from Indiana. You can read their stories and vote for them by going to fb.org/initiative/farm-dog-of-the-year. Voting closes November 28.

Happy National Dogs in Politics Day! πΎπΊπΈ Today we recognize all the good boys and girls who make political work cuter and fluffier.
From sniffing hands and licking babies to being paws on the ground at the Capitol and in district, we are working hard for you (and for treats).

Was so happy to see one of my Denver friends on Monday; she took the time to drive all the way to Fort Morgan just to see me and catch up!
[And yes, mom has another flat tire, but that didn't stop the meeting with my friend as I can multi-task between getting attention and handling business].

While I didn't get to join mom this morning for pancake events or walking in a parade, we now get to enjoy a hot dog lunch and this beautiful weather together!

Interim means less office time at the Capitol and being more paws-on-the-ground in district. While I am enjoying being away from Denver, I miss greeting everyone when they came to visit (which is why I made my mom put this sign up now to be session-ready β‘οΈ "All Guests Must Be Approved By The Dog").

After working so very hard this General Assembly...getting pets every day, giving out love, spreading the dog hair everywhere and with everyone....I finally got to rest...and I got two new toys for all of my hard work. Miss all my Capitol dog friends....love, Pippin

Peaches had sent out an invitation to all the at the end of the session. Now, after a much needed rest from greeting visitors in the office to chasing squirrels around the Capitol grounds, she is excited to launch this page to be able to stay in touch with all the good Colorado Capitol Dog Caucus members over the interim!
