YFP works with health and human service providers and yoga teachers to create sustainable yoga programs for communities in need.
Program Model
1.In partnership with organizations, we develop yoga programs tailored for each community factoring in age, health and culture. Concurrently, we cultivate leaders who are interested in continuing yoga in their community beyond our initial involvement.
2.For yoga teachers, we provide an apprenticeship program, workshops, ongoing mentoring and training opportunities to improve their ability to guide yoga programs for communities in need.

Yoga for the People invites you to come practice with us in a series of outdoor donation based classes for our annual fundraiser at Alamo Placita Park! Each Saturday will feature one of our different volunteer yoga instructors.
