La violencia doméstica es más frecuente de lo que muchos piensan, ya que afecta a 1 de cada 4 mujeres y a 1 de cada 7 hombres. Tan solo en Colorado, las organizaciones financiadas por el DVP atendieron más de 54,249 llamadas de crisis, dieron refugio a 3,630 personas y apoyaron a 13,697 clientes a través de servicios de emergencia y sin refugio. Are you an adoptive parent, a youth who was adopted, or an adoption professional? We want to hear from you! 🗣️👇

"10-4" isn't just radio shorthand for message received—it’s an important reminder in child safety.
Sentinel injuries, such as unexplained bruises or minor trauma in non-mobile infants (children under 10 months or 4 months depending on developmental milestones), can be early warning signs of physical abuse. 🚼 🍼
Identifying these subtle signs early can make all the difference in preventing severe maltreatment.
On 10-4 Day (October 4), join us in spreading awareness among healthcare providers, caregivers, and community members to recognize sentinel injuries and protect our youngest children.
