💧 Planning to drain your pool?

Pool water should never be discharged into a driveway, street or storm drain. Before draining, allow the water to sit, ensure it is properly dechlorinated and slowly release it onto your lawn so the ground can absorb it. Please review the guidelines below to help protect our local waterways!

🌧️ When it rains, it drains—and it all has to go somewhere!

Stormwater flows untreated into our local waterways, picking up fertilizer, grass clippings, pet waste, oil and other pollutants along the way. Small actions like cleaning up after pets, keeping yard waste out of storm drains and using fertilizer responsibly can make a big difference in protecting our streams and lakes.

This grant-funded program helps create safer, healthier homes for families with young children and pregnant women.

🚂 All aboard for a day of history, community, and fun in the Borough of Derry! Join us on July 11th from 11 AM – 3 PM at 60 S. Chestnut St. for Derry’s Big Boy 4014 Viewing Party! Enjoy food trucks, historical displays, a hobo costume contest, and more while we wait for the legendary Big Boy 4014 to pass through town. Don’t forget your lawn chair!
