Recently, Des Moines Parks and Recreation held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Riverside Bridge Park, which features brand-new park furnishings from IPI!

IPI's Rockwell City metal shop produced new trash receptacles, circle bike racks, and distinctly shaped and colored park benches. These fixtures combine the urban character of Downtown Des Moines with the natural view of the river and surrounding greenery.

We're very proud to have had the opportunity to be a part of this special project for the community!

Homes for Iowa was pleased to welcome Lt. Governor Chris Cournoyer at the Iowa State Fair this year! 🙌

Lt. Governor Cournoyer has been a champion of our homebuilding program even before the first house was ever constructed! In addition to being a member of the original exploratory group that went to learn from South Dakota's program, she has championed key legislative efforts and been a vocal advocate as the partnership has grown.

Homes for Iowa and IPI appreciate Lt. Governor Cournoyer’s continued commitment to the program and her support of its three interconnected goals: creating more attainable housing for Iowans, developing our skilled workforce, and providing opportunities for individuals to successfully build a new future.

Her can-do attitude and commitment to excellence shows in everything she does, and her positive outlook affects those around her.

Ann is our only current employee IPI Champion Awardee, and we're honored to have presented this award for all she has done and continues to do daily for our organization and mission!

It's really not fair that only basketball stars seem to get recognized for their career highs! 🏀

This past fiscal year, the IPI Customer Service team set a new record for amount of customer orders fulfilled, with over 10,000 in FY26 — This is also the first time in our organization's history that this number has broken into five figures!

Though they primarily work behind the scenes, our Customer Service team impacts virtually every order that we receive, and it's because of their hard work that we continue to grow and serve our customers.

Congratulations to our superstar Customer Service team on the incredible milestone! 🙌

IPI and Homes for Iowa have officially landed at the Iowa State Fair! 🙌

This marks the third consecutive year that we've transported a full-size home down the road from Newton to the fairgrounds (if you were in the area last Thursday morning, you might've seen us!)

Make sure to stop by our exhibit just west of the Varied Industries Building any day during the fair to catch some shade, tour the home, and chat with representatives about our program and how you can purchase one of these homes for yourself!

IPI recently hosted a legislative tour at the Iowa Correctional Institution for Women, where 22 state legislators were able to get an up-close look at our Mitchellville shop and learn about our program.

Following the shop tour, they took a visit to Ventura Foods, one of IPI's private sector partners, to see the benefits and work being done in the partnership in action.

We currently have four additional tours scheduled at other locations, and we're excited to continue sharing the great work being done in our programs!
