We had a wonderful experience at the Council Bluffs Area Joining Community Forces networking event. This gathering brought together military service members, veterans, and community partners. It was inspiring to witness the resources available and the dedication from community partners.
These resources assist veterans with housing, education, medical services, employment, and much more. Local organizations, small businesses, volunteers, and advocates consistently step up to ensure our veterans feel seen, supported, and valued. Whether it’s providing assistance with housing, employment, mental health, or simply fostering a sense of belonging, these efforts truly change lives.

It was a rewarding experience to meet various providers in the community, and we appreciate the exceptional care they offer.

Melody Moser, our employment specialist from Cedar Rapids, IA, attended one of Iowa's largest fish fries at the Marion Legion Post 298. This event provided an excellent opportunity for her to connect with community members. Over delicious food, she was able to share our services and resources with the Veteran community.

That’s a wrap on our latest Hiring Event. As one of the event coordinators, I want to express gratitude to all the job seekers who attended to connect and explore new opportunities, as well as the recruiters and hiring teams who facilitated meaningful conversations. Events like this focus on bringing great talent and great organizations together, and it was rewarding to witness so many connections being made.
