DMPD is requesting the community's assistance with locating a missing juvenile.

10-year-old Nelson was reported missing at approximately 7:40 AM. Nelson is believed to be in crisis. He was last seen in the area of Hanawalt Elementary School, 225 56th Street.

Family and law enforcement efforts to locate him have not produced results.

Nelson was last seen wearing a light blue/dark blue hooded sweatshirt with bright red liner, khaki pants, black shoes and a stocking hat.

***MISSING JUVENILE***

DMPD is requesting the community's assistance with locating a missing juvenile.

10-year-old Dixie was reported missing at approximately 3:30 PM. Dixie is believed to be in crisis. He was last seen in the southside Watrous South Neighborhood, near the 1900 blk Leland Ave. Family and law enforcement efforts to locate him have not produced results.

He was last seen wearing the clothing in the photograph provided here.

CRIME STOPPERS ALERT

The police department is investigating a serious crime involving the dissemination of obscene material to a minor.

Law enforcement is seeking information concerning the whereabouts of Anthony Reed Wixom, age 67, of Marshalltown. Wixom has a warrant for his arrest and is charged with Dissemination and Exhibition of Obscene Materials to Minors.

If you can help us find Mr. Wixom, or you have information about this incident, please call 641.754.5725. ***ATTEMPT TO LOCATE - HOMICIDE MATERIAL WITNESS***

DMPD detectives are requesting the community’s assistance with locating a material witness in an ongoing homicide investigation.

On 03 March 2022, 34-yr-old Blake Alcott Myers was shot and killed in the 900 blk of Walker Street. A material witness warrant has been issued for a person that detectives believe has critical information relevant to this investigation.

38-yr-old Brian Houston has an active material witness warrant related to this homicide investigation, as well as unrelated arrest warrants. Attached is his photo. He is described as 5’7” tall, weighing 180 lbs. He may be driving a white-colored 2011 GMC Acadia Denali, with no license plates.
