I can't believe that tonight will be the first night that the Weather Beacon won't be shinning. :( Des Moines' skyline will NEVER be the same without it.
The Weather Beacon will shine one last time tonight. Then it will be shut down forever. The Weather Beacon will forever be missed by everyone in Des Moines, and Iowa. We will always remember your lights every night that showed us what the weather will be like the next day. It's very sad to see you go.
