Today, the 103d Expeditionary Sustainment Command pauses to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to this Nation.

We remember our six fallen Soldiers whose courage, dedication, and selfless service embodied everything the Army Reserve stands for:

MAJ Jeffrey O'Brien
MAJ Cory Khork
CW3 Robert Marzan
MSG Nicole Amor
MSG Noah Tietjens
SGT Declan Coady

Their legacy lives on in every formation, every mission, and every Soldier who wears this patch.

On this Memorial Day, we also honor all who have fallen before them, across every generation, every theater, and every branch who answered the call and did not come home.

To the families who carry this loss every day: we see you. We stand with you. We will never forget.

"All gave some. Some gave all."

Nation -

On May 14, 2026, Soldiers from the 103d Expeditionary Sustainment Command joined Veterans, families, and community members at the Iowa Vietnam Veterans Recognition Day ceremony at the Iowa Vietnam War Memorial.

This year's event concluded the 50th anniversary observance of Iowa's Vietnam Veterans Memorial, which honors 868 Iowans whose names are etched in granite in remembrance of their service and sacrifice.

The ceremony featured keynote speaker Dr. Craig R. Saunders, a Vietnam Veteran and former Air Force flight surgeon. The program included a moment of silence for six fallen 103d ESC heroes, music from the Mackenzie Highlanders Pipes and Drums, posting and retiring of the colors by Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 790, an "In Memory" program, wreath laying, rifle salute, "Taps," and "Amazing Grace."

Iowa Lieutenant Governor Chris Cournoyer and other state leaders attended, delivering remarks and reading the official Vietnam Veterans Recognition Day proclamation.

Nation 🌵

Soldiers from the 649th Regional Support Group sharpened their lethality and sustained readiness during crew serve weapons qualification at Fort McCoy , building cohesive teams who are combat ready.

649th RSG Soldiers rotated through day and night firing iterations on individual and crew‑served weapons, reinforcing the fundamentals of marksmanship, fire control, and safe weapons handling in a dynamic field environment. Crew serve weapons qualification not only validates our unit’s ability to generate trained and ready formations, it also strengthens small-unit leadership, communication, and trust under realistic conditions.

Master Sgt. Nicole Amor’s legacy of courage, leadership, and selfless service continues to live on in the Soldiers she led, the community she loved, and now on the very roads of her hometown.

A portion of Ramsey County State-Aid Highway 96 in White Bear Lake will bear her name as the “Master Sergeant Nicole Amor Memorial Highway,” a lasting reminder of her sacrifice and the example she set for all who wear the uniform.

🦅 MISSION PREP COMPLETE! 🦅

From April 9–12, Soldiers assigned to the 646th Regional Support Group hit the ground running at Fort McCoy , knocking out critical pre-deployment training ahead of Operation Sentinel Justice (OSJ). This Battle Assembly was all about pushing our team through rigorous collective training and mission command integration.

Soldiers maximized time in the field by standing up a Tactical Operations Center (TOC) with a full COMMEX. We also led a massive RSOI and MASCAL exercise supporting the 371st TC DET, 376th FI BN, and 687th CSSB. To finish strong, Soldiers owned the night with NVG tactical driving and sent rounds downrange for Individual and Crew-Served Weapons Qualifications (IWQ/CSWQ). 🇺🇸💪
