Some people have been calling WIC participants and pretending to be WIC staff. They ask for personal or financial information, but these calls are not from WIC.

WIC staff will never call you to ask for things like your personal details, bank information, or account numbers. Any call asking for this is a scam.

If you get a call like this:
• Don’t share any information.
• Hang up right away.
• Report the call to your local WIC office.
Your safety and privacy matter. Thank you for staying alert and helping keep our community safe.
