Did you know Polk County represents 20% of Democratic voters statewide and more than 70% of the Democratic voter base in IA-03? If Democrats are going to win big in Iowa this November, strong turnout in Polk County will be critical.

We’ve spent years building the infrastructure, volunteer network, and local operation to reach voters across our county. Now we’re launching our most ambitious turnout effort yet.

We have $30,000 left to raise to fully fund our Official Voter Guide program and make sure Democrats up and down the ballot are in the strongest possible position to win in November.

The road to Democratic victories in Iowa runs through Polk County.

Call for Artists: Let's Imagine Iowa Together
Community Art Submission Form

What does a healthy Iowa look like through your eyes?

We believe every Iowan deserves clean water to drink, healthy places to play, thriving wildlife, and farms that nourish both people and the land.

We're creating a community coloring book and journal inspired by Chris Jones' vision for an Iowa where streams run clear, families trust their drinking water, and sustainable farms strengthen our communities for generations to come.

We're inviting artists, illustrators, teachers, parents, students, and kids of all ages to help bring that vision to life.

Submission deadline: August 17
For assistance with the submission form, please email [email protected].

Iowa wildlife
Pollinators and native flowers
Rivers, lakes, wetlands, and streams
Healthy soil
Sustainable farms
Farm animals
Trees and forests
Prairie landscapes
Birds and butterflies

Why We're Making This

Chris Jones imagines an Iowa where every family can trust the water they drink, children can safely swim in our lakes and streams, wildlife flourishes alongside thriving farms, and rural communities prosper.

This coloring book is one way to help Iowans of every age imagine that future together.

Whether you are coloring with your children, reflecting on Iowa’s natural beauty, or exploring the outdoors, we hope this book sparks conversation, curiosity, and reminds us that the future of Iowa is something we create together.
