Rob Sand claims that Republicans passed a bill to restrict his powers, but thatโ€™s not the truth. An audit of state spending shouldn't give the government open access to your personal medical records, confidential student details, or sensitive tax returns. Iowa House Republicans passed SF478 to ensure the State Auditor retains full authority to uncover fraud while putting guardrails on government overreach.
