Thank you for your support, and your faith in my ability to represent your Republican values in Des Moines!

Today is the Republican primary election for Iowa House District 23, and the polls are open from 7am - 9pm. I ask for your vote, because I'll stand up for our conservative values in Des Moines.

We have accomplished so much in the last few years, but now, more than ever, we need to remain unified as we step into the future and close the critical gap between good and great. As your Representative, I will continue the great work of the legislature to continue making Iowa strong. I ask for your vote tomorrow in the Republican primary for Iowa House District 23.

As your State Representative, I pledged to deliver on my conservative values. Recently, I helped pass historic tax cuts that helped Iowa families keep more of their hard-earned money. In order to build on our successes, I need your support in the Republican Primary on June 5th!

I will continue to champion fiscal responsibility and common sense solutions for job growth, prosperity, and a booming Iowa economy. On June 5th, I would be honored to have your vote!

I had a great conversation with Nick Zimmer, Executive Director - Montgomery County Family YMCA and Allen Pohren Montgomery County Family YMCA Endowment Trustee during the 2017 YMCA of Iowa Alliance State Legislative Day.

We had the first of many Legislative Briefings on Saturday, January 21st at City Hall in Glenwood. It was well attended and some great questions were asked. It was good to meet new people, answer their questions and address their concerns. Our next briefing is February 18th. Click on the Events tab for more information.

I'm back in Des Moines today and ready to get started on what will be a very interesting, yet productive session in Iowa. There are many important issues that we must deal with that Iowans are facing and although some of the decisions we will make won't be easy or loved by all, they must be made. I'm ready to tackle those issues for the betterment of our community and Iowa as a whole. I would like to introduce my new clerk, Allie (Ford) Paulson, originally from Glenwood, Iowa. She is excited to be a part of the team and ready to help with the important issues that Iowans are facing. Once again, I would like to thank all of you for your continued support. Now, let's get this year started!
