Ali's Acres

The 1st day of 2020 seems like a great day for an update on Ali's Acres!

2018 was a great 1st season and we were able to donate most of what we grew to those in need.

2019 was a year of changes and relocation. We have now settled in Johnston and have a beautiful 1 acre lot that is ready to be filled with veggie seeds!!!

The plan for 2020 is to start small, welcome others to volunteer and donate tons! The plot will be very small as we continue to get settled in but we have big plans to grow over the years.

Holy zucchini!!!! This harvest is going to the Urban Bicycle Food Ministry along with some yellow squash and cilantro.

Making progress on the farm! Yellow squash, zucchini, and tomatoes will be ready in no time. The new signs arrived today too!

Early morning greens harvest! Message me if you'd like some. The bulk of it will be donated this afternoon to those in need. Happy Thursday!

Tomatoes are in the ground and planted with love.

Arugula! I'll try to save some to share, but I can't stop eating it while working the garden. Yum!

It looks like baby radishes and arugula will be available within a few days!!!!
