🎲🌿 Where Does Matter Go? 🌎🔬
This week, our 6th grade scientists became molecules as they explored how matter moves through an ecosystem!
Using dice to determine their journeys, students traveled through the water, carbon, and nitrogen cycles, discovering how matter moves between living and nonliving parts of an ecosystem. Along the way, they tracked their molecules, identified their roles in the ecosystem, and reflected on the paths they traveled.
Through this hands-on simulation, students discovered that matter is constantly moving and cycling through ecosystems, but it never disappears!
Who knew being a molecule could be so much fun?! 💚💛
