Are you curious about what happens between the farm and your dinner plate? Join us for a fun, hands-on Meat Science Class for youth in grades 6 and up!

This opportunity will be held at Central Lakes College on the Staples campus on October 24, 2026 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. $10.00 to register and this will include a fresh grilled lunch!

4-H Building Day!

For more than 80 years, the 4-H Building has been the heart of Minnesota 4-H at the Minnesota State Fair. But as 4-H continues to grow and evolve, so do the needs of our youth, who are participating in new, exciting, and increasingly complex activities and projects.
We're embarking on a campaign to renovate the building so it’s ready to serve today’s youth and future generations of 4-H’ers! The renovation will create new learning zones where youth can turn what they learn at the fair into new opportunities in their communities, as well as spaces for overnight summer camps and more.
