Detroit City Code Sec. 29-3-11: It is unlawful for a minor to be on a public street, sidewalk, playground, vacant lot, or other public place:
For minors aged 15 years and under: 10 p.m. through 6
a.m.
For minors ages 16 and 17: from 11 p.m. through 6 a.m.

Everything you need to know about the Ford Fireworks Show on June 22nd! ⬇️🎆

Viewing areas include Hart Plaza, Spirit Plaza, Erma Henderson Park, and Belle Isle

All of these viewing areas and nearby areas will be weapons-free and drone-free zones. There will be Detroit Police officers, Detroit Fire Department members, and Michigan State Troopers around who can help with any safety needs you have.

Road closures are happening, so pack your patience and get there early. Move out of the way for emergency vehicles, and don’t block emergency routes.

Curfew for the fireworks is 8 p.m. After that time, minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 21 or older.

The Detroit Police Department has made it accessible for community members to obtain police reports, gun permits, police clearances, and fingerprinting. Community members can now visit the 3rd precinct, located on 2875 W. Grand Blvd, to obtain those items.
