In the wake of the brutal murder of legal observer Renee Nicole Good, grassroots activists, legal advocates, and Detroit elected officials are gathering to demand the city’s leadership actively call for an end to ICE activities.

Detroiters join residents and leaders of cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Minneapolis and Portland in calling for an end to injury, death and blatant human rights violations by the Trump administration.

Advocates are calling on Detroit’s leaders to support residents’ rights, safety and basic freedoms by denouncing the ICE’s racist activity and using their power as elected officials to insulate residents from terror, and for the state legislature to pass legislation to protect our communities from masked agents, privacy rights violations, and enforcement at sensitive locations.
