Good Health for Every Woman at Every Age!

Whether you’re in your 20s, 70s, or beyond, one thing remains true: Movement matters, and every little bit counts!

You don’t have to spend hours at the gym to make physical activity part of your life. Sometimes it’s as simple as taking the stairs, walking during a phone meeting, dancing to your favorite artist, strolling through the mall, or getting outside to prepare your garden for next spring.

💡Here’s what you should know: The American Cancer Society recommends that adults aim for 150–300 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity each week, along with regular strength training. Staying active can help lower your risk of breast cancer while supporting your overall health and well-being.

And remember, you don’t have to do it all at once! Start where you are, find activities you enjoy, and build on your progress.

From Schweitzer Fellowship to continued leadership. 🌟

AeYanna Yett, who completed her Albert Schweitzer Fellowship through Authority Health’s Detroit Chapter, continues to put service, leadership and community engagement into action.

AeYanna was elected to represent the Wayne State University School of Social Work in the University Student Senate. Her leadership also extends into her community, where she serves as chair of the African American Coalition in Sterling Heights and helped lead the development of the city’s first Juneteenth celebration.

Reflecting on her Schweitzer experience, AeYanna described the Fellowship as an opportunity that promotes social innovation and encourages participants to positively impact the social and political determinants of health.

Her journey is a reminder that completing the Fellowship year isn’t the end of the experience.
