makes content development and problem-solving more expedient, but at what price to our cognitive ability? 🧠💡🤔❓⚛
"In the rush to adopt Artificial Intelligence (AI), society may have overlooked a critical risk – the erosion of the ability to think critically. An even greater risk has been associated with children: they may not even develop critical thinking skills, as they learn to rely on AI to think and solve problems for them.
As a writer, I learned that AI could compose and revise content faster and better. While there was pride lost in the manufactured content, the goal, after all, is to prepare the most well-crafted piece of writing that would advance its purpose. That it wasn’t my “voice” was irrelevant." See the link to continue reading this blog by Dennis Archambault, VP Public Affairs for .

And, just like that, we have a new cohort! ✨✨✨✨
Every year, we have the privilege of welcoming a new cohort of Albert .
is proud to have the only fellowship chapter in the state of , not merely because of our commitment to keep the program alive and thriving in our region, but also because of the passion that each group has every year for .
We find tremendous value in helping to support their efforts to find real solutions that will help uplift populations that have been made vulnerable because of unjust or inadequate systems in place.
The fellows’ work centers underserved populations of all kinds, from urban communities here in to more rural areas in upper Michigan that lack access to quality education especially around health literacy which impacts their health, wellness, and life expectancy; one project focuses on veterans who may feel isolated or alone and could use a bridge to community for mental health and wellness; other projects explore ways to advocate for people with disabilities (particularly those with cognitive conditions) and the families that care for them.
The cohort is made up of skilled medical and health professionals; these young people come with energy and hope; they’re humble and eager to both serve and learn from the communities that their projects are focused on. They come with intention and an earnest dedication to community service and passion for the work. ✨✨✨✨✨✨
