It’s heartbreaking that the loss of a 12yr Detroit firefighter, killed in the line of duty, must be shared online rather than by main stream media. Pat was an incredible man whose passing leaves a void in his family and friends that can never be filled. An Army veteran and a Senior FF at DFD Squad 4, Pat was, above all else, a devoted husband and father.

All funds raised will go directly to support his widow, Shannon Trout, and their 7-year-old son during this unimaginably difficult time. Any donation, big or small, will help his family as they navigate this tragedy. Thank you.
