1924 Tudor Revival formal dining room, fully restored. I, honestly, wonder if it's ever looked this good. Wallpaper covered with several coats of paint stripped from all walls. Baseboard and picture moldings removed where necessary. Significantly water damaged plaster (due to large holes in roof for years) removed and repaired/replaced, including decorative plaster border that was replicated from original section (more than entire inside wall is, undetectably, brand new). Plastered over electrical box for chandelier located and dug out and reconnected (chandelier purchased at Indian Village yard sale shortly after home purchase), painted over light sconces stripped of paint, candle covers and shades replaced. Wooden radiator cover and all metal grates stripped of paint, wood repaired and repainted. Windows disassembled and stripped of many layers of paint on framing pieces and all hardware, windows that were painted shut freed up, sash chords replaced, as needed. Picture and baseboard moldings reinstalled, missing/rotted sections of picture molding replaced. French doors that had been removeded and stored in attic (including all doorframe pieces) reinstalled after removing pieces added to wall to form archway (same archway at rear leading to sunroom left as is). Floor deep vacuumed, steam cleaned, and treated with hardwood floor restorer.
